Albany Science College is a High School in Chorley. At Albany Science College we constantly strive towards raising the achievement of every one of our pupils.

The High Schools experienced, qualified teaching staff are committed to ensuring your child receives a high quality education delivered in a calm working atmosphere. A large number of Albany Science college's pupils proceed to further education at local colleges and to university.

At Albany Science College every single record in the school’s history has been broken every year with outstanding GCSE results - high percentages pupils at Albany Science College continue to obtain A* and A grade levels. 5% of pupils gained 11A* and A GCSE grades and 20% of pupils gaining three or more A* and A’s in 2009.

This specialist science school is pleasantly situated in mature grounds, surrounded by playing fields on the southern outskirts of Chorley. Our school is served by public transport as well as safe access on foot.

Albany Science College also provides IT courses aimed at people aged 50 and over. The High School received the funding for these IT courses from Chorley Lancashire Locals.
